In 2011, Jake was officially diagnosed with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis which has side-lined him from the game he loves and changed his life forever. Can you imagine if this were you or a loved one?

Today, Jake has a new passion

He is committed to do all he can to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.  MS directly impacts at least 7,500 diagnosed Connecticut residents and their families, and over 2-million people worldwide.   Jake's goal can only be achieved through extensive and expensive medical research, along with the broad work of the National MS Society and it’s Connecticut Chapter.

Greg Jacobson, “Jake”, was a fixture at the Ridgefield GC for nearly 20 years with numerous RGC Club Championships and a course record.  Jake was a regular competitor in Connecticut State Golf Association  (CSGA) tournaments, playing in numerous Connecticut Opens, Amateurs and Mid-Amateurs.  Jake was also an NCAA Golf All-American and a professional tour player on the Space Coast Mini-Tour.
